PARENT & CHILD YOGA: A 4-Week Series with Louise Parker ~ Sundays, April 27-May 18, 4-5pm

This special series of yoga classes for parents & children will blend fun, movement, mindfulness activities & breathing to increase the connection & trust between parent & child, practice emotional resiliency and develop mindfulness. Theses classes will be best suited to young yogis aged 5-12, and poses will be adapted to help them learn yoga in a way that reflects their age, ability & curiosity. We’ll play with partner yoga, acro-yoga, massage, breathing & kid-friendly meditation. No prior yoga or meditation experience is required of child or adult. NE PSYCHEDELIC MEDICINE Collective: Meetup with Sasha Teter & Cliff McGann ~ Sunday, April 28, 3-5pm ~ In Person

Since 2016, a welcoming group of psychedelic therapists, clinical trial participants and those new to the field have been meeting to discuss the evolving landscape of psychedelic medicine. We meet monthly to explore the historic, traditional and modern use of psychedelic medicine for the purpose of growth and universal connectivity. We discuss how to integrate this medicine in a way that honors tradition while also understanding the legal issues and science supporting its efficacy. Everyone is welcome and our attendees include psychedelic therapists, researchers, clinical trial participants along with folks with limited knowledge who want to learn more in an open and supportive environment. - Join here

OMDRUM: Intro to Hand Drumming with Pasha Cohen ~ Saturday, May 4, 2-4pm ~ Drums Provided

Hand drumming is invigorating and powerful - have you ever wanted to try it? Join professional drummer and teacher Pasha Cohen for a workshop where you can try your hand at it in a professionally guided, safe and fun space. The afternoon is designed for new drummers who have felt an interest but haven’t tried drumming yet, or perhaps only once or twice. You’ll be able to experience how the drum can be used as as an instrument for expression, meditation and self-healing. Created by ancient Indian rishis from Vedic mantras, kirtan is a yoga of sound - an evening of beautiful music and heartfelt call-and-response singing. No previous experience is necessary to experience its emotional depth, yet powerful as it is, kirtan is effortless and incredibly enjoyable. Free ~ please make a donation! Shubalananda Larry Kopp has been leading kirtan for many years, having studied with Neem Karoli Baba, Sathya Sai Baba, KarunaSeptemberi and Shree Maa. May PLAYSHOP: Release & Renew for Spring! with Chandra Cantor & Robin Shaw ~ Sunday, May 5, 12:30-2:30pm

Spring is upon us! What a time for reconnecting to the roots of what is important to us so that we can manifest blooms that feel beautiful, and most connected to our authentic and potent selves! We will explore creatively through movement, journaling, art making and sharing in community. Nurture self and community. Receive support. Choose delightful, meaningful creative expression! We hope the Playshop will offer you the opportunity for renewal and release! If you are craving some space for creative expression and impulse, if you want to reconnect to what you'd like to manifest in the world, if you'd like to be with this in the structure of supportive community, this is for you! Bring along a journal, art supplies of any kind (we will also supply many), and dress in loose comfortable clothes, especially if you’re staying for Restorative Yoga and Massage afterwards  This is for all levels, and no prior art, movement or yoga experience is needed. There is the option to take this Playshop along with the Restorative Yoga and Massage Workshop that follows from 3-5pm. Join Chandra & Robin for an afternoon of deep relaxation and massage! Chandra will guide the class through a sequence of Restorative Yoga postures - long holds in passive, gentle poses supported by yoga props - while Robin, massage therapist offers therapeutic bodywork. This luxurious 2 hour class is a wonderful opportunity to slow down, practice self-care, and receive healing touch. All levels welcome. PRENATAL PARTNER YOGA with Barrett Reinhorn ~ Saturday, May 18, 4-6pm ~ Preregistration required

Pregnant yoginis: here's a chance to practice with your partner during this vibrant and dynamic time! We'll be practicing in tandem some of the asana that we do in a regular prenatal class, as well as exploring ways to support and be supported by our partner. Trust and safety are paramount feelings in pregnancy and birth, and we'll find these qualities in a playful way with our partner. No yoga experience necessary for either pregnant student or partner! Ritual Trance Dance is a moving Journey that brings together the richness of ancient indigenous rituals with innovative modern techniques focused on healing and spiritual evolution. Tsering Ngodup is a lama, or spiritual teacher, authorized to teach by HH ShaMar Rinpoche. He has devoted over twenty-five years to sharing the religious and spiritual teachings of Tibetan Buddhism in the West. He has traveled across the world, translating and interpreting Buddhist teachings for highly accomplished Tibetan lamas and masters from all four schools of Tibetan Buddhism. Qigong + Tai Chi are ancient systems of mind-body exercise originating in China for the purpose of promoting health and healing. Tai Chi was first developed as a martial art form for self-defense. Today, people practice Qigong + Tai Chi for vitality and wellness, as both practices feature breath awareness, focused concentration and gentle rhythmic movement. We’ll explore together how to use the Drum as a tool for meditation and self-healing, sampling African and Western styles of hand drumming. Postnatal yoga classes welcome new moms/parents with infants for a bit of quiet reflective time while building back their strength. Classes specifically focus on creating connection and comfort in the back, chest, abdominals and pelvic floor – all the places that are achy after pregnancy, birth, and life with a newborn! We focus on recovering from birth, but add a little baby yoga into the mix too (especially if the babies are restless!). Parents are welcome with or without their babies, anytime from early postpartum until babies are crawling.
