What is Reiki?
Guided by spiritual love and wisdom, Reiki can touch us on all levels of our being. Physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual issues may be addressed with a Reiki session, or by empowering yourself with Reiki training. Whether you are seeking physical health, processing change or emotional issues, wanting to move yourself further on your path, or simply need to relax and recharge, Reiki can assist you in these areas. Treatment focuses on the flow of energy, qi, through 20 major channels called meridians. Good health depends on the smooth flow of qi. When the flow is impeded, the body's systems are thrown out of balance.

Where does Reiki come from?
The origins of Reiki are somewhat mysterious. We know that a man named Mikao Usui went on a spiritual quest to Mt Kurama in Japan in the early 1900s. After 21 days of fasting and meditation, a healing system was revealed to him. It has been passed on from person to person since then, and is now practiced by over one million people all over the world. Chanelled sources indicate that Reiki is very ancient, and may have been brought to earth by spiritual beings.

Those who practice it are inpired by its power, love, and simplicity. It is guided by the energy itself, not the practitioner, so the recipient's systems can use the energy in whatever way will be most beneficial. It is also a wonderful self-healing tool, and can be used to empower projects and assist in spiritual awareness. For more information and articles about Reiki, visit

What is a Reiki treatment like?
A reiki session is a wonderful experience that is different every time, depending on the client's needs. Reiki is gentle,non-invasive, and is administered with light touch through clothing. Because it is guided by the energy itself and not the practitioner, the recipient's systems can use the healing energy in the most positive way. Generally, areas in our body or energy field are awakened, cleared, and strengthened. Often this results in deep relaxation, or may induce a needed emotional release. Sometimes clients feel heat, energy movement, or experience dreamlike images. After a session, most people feel clearer and more balanced.

How much does it cost?
You can try a 30 minute Introductory Session with Tim or Christabeth for $25. Subsequent sessions are generally one hour in length and cost $65
